Still cold. Still stuck indoors too much. Hence - another afghan in the works! The instructions call it the
Wool Eater. Mine being made with (Vanna's Choice) acrylic, I am calling it the Yarneater. And yes, I sing that to the tune of Hall & Oates "Maneater." Don't judge.
The blanket is mostly made with triple crochets and it does indeed gobble up the yarn. But it is sooo warm and cozy.
I am loving the texture.
Reverse.
Davey likes it. What do you all think?
I like it! I started one once and did about two rounds......and I have no idea where that is now. I remember it being easier once I got the hang of the pattern. Yours is so pretty!!!
ReplyDelete....but now I have Maneater in my head. :)
Thanks Amy! It's doubled in size now and the pattern is totally burned on my brain. Easy to do while watching trashy tv ;) I'll be sure to post a pic when it's done!
ReplyDeleteTrying to make a blanket for my sister, I am stuck, not sure how what to do after the fourth round. Any help will be appreciated.
ReplyDeleteOooh soooo pretty! I just may have to try it.
ReplyDeleteAnd hey if it's good enuff for Davey then it's good enuff for me! Hehe
